PC Technician Specialist
The PC Technician Specialist program is a 26 week long program that starts September 8, 2008. The PC Technician Specialist program also contains a large amount of information that pertains to NETWORKING. If you are looking to learn how to setup and administer small networks of 250 people, or less, the PC Technician Specialist program is where you should start.
Every student will be required to write 2 computer certification exams as the program is ongoing. At the 22 week mark you are sent out on to a 4-week work term to get some real world experience.
Each student will be required to perform daily hands-on labs that are overseen by a qualified instructor that works in the computer repair/network industry. Do not be misled by the title of this program. Every student will learn how to design, build, and maintain desktop, laptop, and networks.
The course is designed as if each student is unfamiliar with computers. The intensive "real world" labs allow for fast development for even the most novice of computer user.
For those students that have previous computer knowledge, these hands-on labs allow for a deeper understanding of the study of computers. You will not only acquire more skill through hands-on labs, but also learn the "Why does this happen…" behind all computer problems. |

Network Engineer Specialist
The Network Engineer Specialist program is a 26 week long program that starts September 8, 2008. The Network Engineer Specialist program is designed as an intensive course where every student will be required to write 4 computer certification exams as the program is ongoing. At the 22 week mark you are sent out on to a 4-week work term to get some real world experience.
Each student will be required to perform daily hands-on labs that are overseen by a qualified instructor that works in the networking industry.
The course is designed as if each student is familiar with computers. The intensive "real world" labs allow for fast development, but not for a novice computer user. It is recommended, but not necessary, that any potential student have at least one computer certification, current or expired.
Any potential student that does not have at least one computer certification will be asked to prove their computer knowledge to the instructor. The Network Engineer Specialist course is meant to take the "knowledgeable computer user" to the next level. To take that "uncut diamond" of raw computer talent that the potential student has, and turn it into a "polished stone" of I.T. professional skills that will make them attractive to any potential employers.

.Net Programmer Specialist
The .NET Programmer Specialist program is a 26 week long program that starts September 8, 2008. The .NET Programmer Specialist program is designed as an intensive course where every student will be required to write 2 computer certification exams as the program is ongoing. At the 22 week mark you are sent out on to a 4-week work term to get some real world experience.
The .NET Programmer Specialist Program is designed for students who want to enter the work force as a programmer. The .NET Programmer Specialist Program will teach students to create applications in the .NET programming environment – which is one of the hottest markets for IT jobs today.
The program will take a hands-on approach to giving students the skills needed in the workplace as a .NET developer. Students will learn the basics of programming before jumping into the focus of the program – developing web-based applications that connect to data.
After course completion students will have the skills to fill a number of job roles in the IT field that are in huge demand. Students will be able to fill any of the following positions:
